If there is one thing about Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, it is that he will never let us get comfortable with his Sunday night fashion.

One week, it is sharp monochrome. Another, he gives us a denim Agbada. And this time? Gold. Pure, unapologetic gold.
Stepping out in a metallic golden three-piece Babariga designed by D29 Africa, Ebuka looks every bit like Northern royalty. The outfit is completed with a snake-print Hula cap, dark aviator sunglasses and polished black leather shoes.

And honestly, the look is giving wealthy Northerner who has just stepped off a private jet to inspect his latest oil wells.

The Babariga, a traditional flowing three-piece outfit associated with Northern Nigeria, features a floor-length outer robe, inner tunic and matching trousers. Ebuka’s version keeps things luxurious without becoming excessive, thanks to its structured geometric embroidery across the chest and neckline.

The golden metallic fabric does most of the talking, while the tonal detailing keeps the entire look sophisticated and refined.
Ebuka simply captioned the photos “Zinariya”, meaning “Gold” in Hausa.

And he has once again proved that when it comes to menswear, gold doesn’t have to shout. It can simply arrive, sit comfortably, and own the room. 👑

What do you think of Ebuka’s golden Babariga?
